Hegenscheidt-MFD offers a range of different wheelset presses for assembly and/or disassembly of wheelsets. The spectrum extends from the simple disassembly press with one press cylinder to one- and two-cylinder presses for fitting both wheels in one setting and right through to the world first for a high-end assembly press with two press cylinders for the simultaneous fitting of the two wheel discs. The applications range accordingly from deployment in a low-capacity wheelset repair workshop right through to highly automated wheelset production in large quantities.
